She was born Feb. 4, 1956, to Gene Sr. and Darlene Beightol.
She grew up in Rockford and has since lived in the Elk River area. She loved working with children, first in day care and finally driving a school bus for Vision of Elk River.
A celebration of life will be held at the Meadowvale Elementary School in Elk River on Saturday June 4, at 2 p.m. Please use door 7. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to go to Sara Swanson to help her finish her college education. Kim’s wishes are to keep this casual, Please do not dress up
She is survived by fiancé, Rodney “Duke” Schneider; children, Kari Peterson, Brian Peterson, Sara Swanson, and Trevor Swanson; grandson, Mason Peterson-Hillman; mother, Darlene; sisters, Linda Rux (Perry), and Amanda Fautch (James); brother Gene Jr. (Cristi) and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene A. Beightol Sr.
