Mrs. Mary Maurine Eskew, 89 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Life Care Center of Bruceton.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon. Interment followed in the New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Robert Simmons officiating the service.
Pallbearers who served were Andy Dickson, Jeff Hopper, Terry Dickey, Joe Parker, Johnny Hill, Jamie Summers. Honorary pallbearers were Becky Harris, Jill Taylor, Rachel Sawyers, and Bendell Bartholomew.
Mrs. Eskew was born April 1, 1928 in Yuma, Tennessee to the late Willie Bell Roberts and Eulena Rainey Roberts. She was a retired floral designer for the Carousel Flowers and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Author Ray Eskew.
She is survived by a special friend (from August 2, 2907 until Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017) Charlie Massey of Huntingdon, a niece Brenda Gooch (Chuck) Rizzo of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and several other nieces and nephews.
