MIAMI, Texas - Elizabeth Wells McFadden, 89, of Miami, Texas, and formerly of Harvard, died Thursday, March 11, 2004.
She was born May 26, 1914, in Evanston, to Francis and Edith Shere. She married Delos A. McFadden on April 4, 1938, in Genoa City Wis.
She had been a lifelong resident of Harvard, moving to Miami, Texas, in 1999, to live with her daughter.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed traveling, playing golf and playing bridge.
Survivors include a daughter, Edith (Bill) Breeding of Miami; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1987; a daughter, DeeDee McFadden Bradley; and a sister, Margie McGreggor.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Harvard. The Rev. Diana Otterbacher will officiate.
Memorials may be made to BSA Hospice or a favorite charity.
