ROBERTS, Lawrence Eugene Jr. "Lee," 64, of Crewe, Va., passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at home surrounded by his family.

Lee was born on November 24, 1952, in Bristol, Va. Lee was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation with 41 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence E. and Dorothy B. Roberts.

Surviving are his wife, Audrey Roberts; three daughters, Sandy Nash and husband, Ryan, Tracie Rice and husband, Chris, and Crystal Corbitt; six grandchildren, Zachary, Kayla, Madison, Blake, Westin and Branson; one sister, Cheryl Hollomon and husband, Edward; niece, Tiffany Gause and husband, Matt; great-niece, Everly; and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017, from the Jennings-McMillian Funeral Chapel, 200 W. Carolina Ave., in Crewe, with Rev. Bill McIntosh officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Crewe Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
