Just a note on Bethania, but before 1771 it existed in Rowan County, then in 1771 it existed in Surry County (which was formed out of Rowan and Orange counties), then in 1849 it existed in what is now Forsyth County which was formed out of Stokes County. When you look at it in current day, it's in Forsyth, But going back in time it is shown in different counties, marriages, etc.
