Sarah Cooper Bryant, 67 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, July 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Will Cooper and the late A. B. Eison Cooper.
Mrs. Cooper was a home-maker and member of the Jones Street Church of Christ.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bryant will be 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Jones Street Church of Christ in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Cecil Jones. Interment will follow in MCCO cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Jones Street Church of Christ in Newbern, Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband , Larry Bryant of Newbern, Tennessee; three daughters, Cynthia Mayberry-Chambers (Michael) of Newbern, Tennessee, Kasey Bryant-Taylor (Brandon) of Newbern, Tennessee and Marsha McKinnie of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Douglas Cooper of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Danny Cooper of Newbern, Tennessee and Jim Cooper of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; five sisters, Minnie Cooper of Newbern, Tennessee, Magaline Gauldin of Newbern, Tennessee, Mary Frances Wiggins of Newbern, Tennessee, Josephine Nance of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Bernice Mims of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Louis Cooper and two sisters, Willie Mae Sharp and Evelyn Walker.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
