A native of Norfolk, Va., he was born Aug. 20, 1951, to the late Albert Thurman and Minnie Plum Whealton Sellers. He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a mechanic. He was a member of Saint Michael Catholic Church in Oak Grove.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include wife of 49 years, Emily Baca Sellers, Pembroke; his daughters, Lisa (Ken) French, Clarksville, Lori (Dan) Corbett, Winnabow, N.C. and Larrisa Sellers, Hopkinsville; his brother, Robert Sellers, Chesapeake, Va.; his sister, Jeannette Miller, Grand Bay, Ala.; and three grandchildren.
