SAUGERTIES, N. Y., June 17. - D. B. Castree, Clerk of Ulster county, died at his residence in this village last evening, after an illness of three months. His brother in law, Daniel Finger, has attended to the County Clerk's business at Kingston during his sickness, and will probably be appointed his successor for the balonce of his term, which expires on the first of January next. Mr. Castree was about 65 years old, and leaves a wife and four children. He was elected by the Democrats, with the aid of many Republicans in this town, three years ago this coming fail. His funeral will be at the Reformed Church, this village, at two o'clock Monday afternoon. - Albany Evening Journal June 17, 1882
