Age 93, of Hot Springs AR, died Sunday; born in Royal AR to Thomas Littlejohn and Anna Pearl Echols Moore; employed at Bay State Milling Co in Winona from 1947 through 1967, then transferred to the Red Wing MN mill; relocated in 1973 to the Camp Hill PA mill until he retired in 1982.

Dan's family moved to Hot Springs shortly after his birth. In August of 1941 he entered the U.S. Army assigned to the 2nd Division, 23rd Infantry, K Co. stationed at Fort Sam Houston. Dan served with this regiment throughout WWII in European Theater until discharged in Oct. 23rd 1945.

Dan returned to the States where he and his wife, Velma, settled in Winona, MN and raised three children until she passed away at an early age. In 1955 Dan married Agnes (Paulson-Dvergsten) who passed away in 1999. He then married his third wife, Ann Page, widow of his long-time friend Bob Page. Dan and Ann enjoyed traveling and gardening until she passed away in October 2011.

Predeceased by parents, wives Velma Nagle, Agnes Paulson-Dvergsten, and Ann Alford-Page, brothers Sterling Moore, Alexander Moore, and Gilford Moore, stepdaughter Joyce (Steigerwald), and sons in law Bernard Doelle, and Walt Steigerwald.

Survivors include sons Dan, and Richard, daughter Sharon (Clough), stepdaughters Avis (Solberg), Janice (Doelle), stepson Michael Dvergsten, many grandchildren, and relatives from multiple families.
