Mrs. Elizabeth Karr, 89, a native and pioneer resident of Cole County, died at noon yesterday at the family home in the Brazito neighborhood, which is about 14 miles south of Jefferson City.

Mrs. Karr was born and lived virtually all of her life in that section of the county and had a wide circle of friends in both Cole and Miller counties who will regret to learn of her passing.

Her husband died nearly thirty years ago but she is survived by several sons and daughters. They are J.W. Karr of Russellville, Commodore, J.N., J.M. and D.D. Karr of Brazito and Mrs. Andrew Mueller, also of that neighborhood. Twenty five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, several of whom reside in Jefferson City, also mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church and burial will also be made at that place.
