Funeral services for Arthur Albert Bittorf, 2051 Carter street, who died Friday in the Wisconsin General hospital, Madison, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Holy Communion church with Rev. G.W. Genszler officiating. These services will follow private services at the home. Mr. Bittorf was born in Racine, April 17, 1892. He was employed by the Ortwig Sheet Metal company, and was a member of the Moose lodge, Holy Communion church and Bible class. Survivors are his wife, Elsie Bittorf; son, Jack; daughter Shirley; sister, Mrs. Arthur Swartz, Kenosha, and three brothers, William and Edward Bittorf, Racine, and John Bittorf, Madison.
Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. The body will be removed this afternoon from the Dahl funeral home to the residence, where friends may call Sunday and until service time.

Arthur Bittorf, 47, of 2051 Carter street, died early this morning in The Wisconsin General Hospital, Madison, following a major operation. Mr. Bittorf served with the U.S. navy during the World war. He was a member of the Moose lodge and the sheet metal workers union. His wife and his sister, Mrs. George Devine, accompanied him to the hospital a week ago and were there when he died.
