Jane Lindsey passed away holding Bob's hand, her husband of almost 60 years, on March 2, 2011. Jane was born January 13, 1931, in Yakima, WA, to Thomas and Grace Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister and survived by her husband Bob Lindsey, son Dennis Marta Lindsey, son Dale Lori Lindsey, daughter Dana Scott Craig, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Jane was raised in Naches, WA. She attended Washington State University for two years, where she met and married Robert Bob Lindsey on August 26, 1951. Jane supported Bob through WSU and in later graduate studies before moving to Richland, WA in 1953 and starting her family. Bob's job took the family to Indiana University for one year and Washington D.C. for five years in the late 60's and early 70's, where Jane became an accomplished Washington D.C. tour guide for visiting friends and family. The family returned to the Tri-Cities in the early 70's. After the kids left for college, Jane worked as a secretary at Richland High until retirement. Jane served on the Goodwill Board of Directors for four years and enjoyed her retirement traveling the world with Bob. She loved to play Bridge and was an active square and round dancer with the Prairie Shufflers. Jane enjoyed crafts and knitted afghans for friends and family. Jane spent her last six years in assisted living at Park Hills and Fleur De' Lis, to whom the family owes a debt of gratitude for their loving care.

Join the family at an open house to be held on Saturday, March 5th, 2011, from 1:00- 3:00 p.m. at Mueller's Chapel of The Falls, 314 W. 1st. Avenue, Kennewick, WA in a celebration of Jane's life.
