Billy B. Chapman of Norman was born on September 4, 1932 to Fred B. Chapman and Edna Bowen Wrotenbury in Tuttle, Oklahoma. He passed at the age of 85 on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

Billy was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and riding his 4-Wheeler to check on his cows. Billy was an excellent marksman and competed with his shotgun and pistols and he delighted in reloading his own ammunition. He loved to water ski and scuba dive in his earlier years. Billy was a special reserve deputy for the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department. He loved bluegrass music and was known for being a good storyteller.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Violet Chapman and Edna Wrotenbury, brother, Ray Chapman and son, Billy Eugene Chapman.

He is survived by his wife, Georgiana Champeau Chapman, son, Kenny Chapman and wife Karla of Goldsby, Oklahoma, daughter, Gwen Sparks of Norman, brother, Freddie Chapman and wife Elaine of Norman, sister, Joyce Collins of Norman, grandchildren, Justin Chapman, James Chapman, Richard Sparks, Josh Sparks and wife Mattie and Derek Pyle and great-grandchildren, Parker Sparks, Bailey Sparks, Violet Chapman, Karli Sparks, Lucy Chapman and Caden Sparks.

Celebration of Life services Monday, September 18, 2017 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1777 E. Robinson, Norman, Oklahoma. Final Resting Place Norman IOOF Cemetery, 1913 N. Porter, Norman, Oklahoma.

Services under the direction of Tribute Memorial Care, Norman, Oklahoma.
