Funeral services were held yesterday from the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel for Leslie Mathis, 58-year-old Magee resident who died Tuesday. Rev. J. N. Gibson and Rev. Ernest Goff officiated and interment was at Sharon cemetery.
Mr. Mathis was survived by his wife, Mrs. Ora Irene Mathis, Magee; three sons, James Edward, Hulon and J. D. Mathis, Magee; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Stubbs, Mrs. Doris M. Butts and Patsy Ruth Mathis; six brothers, L. B., Lester, Lonnie, Eugene, Millard and Lewis; five sisters, Mrs. Donie Shores, Mrs. J. C. Smith, Mrs. Harry Landlord, Mrs. Olen Green and Mrs. C. W. Green, and 10 grandchildren.
