Patricia Ann Straub, Age 80 of Tequesta, FL and formerly of West Bloomfield, MI, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Detroit, MI, she had been a resident of Little Club for twelve years, coming from West Bloomfield.
Mrs. Straub was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, loved playing bridge, traveling, and was a member of MENSA. Survivors include her husband Paul J. Straub of Tequesta; three sons, Peter Bischoff of Oshkosh, WI, Paul (Jeanette) Bischoff of Gilroy, CA and Matthew Bischoff of Denver, CO; five daughters, Jean Moran of Big Bay, MI, Joyce (Ellis) Neufeld of Weston, MA, Martha Bischoff of Hamtramack, MI, Laura (Dan) Schlichting of Columbus, OH and Amelia (Oliver) Habicht of Ithaca, NY; one brother, Gerald Shaughnessy of Novi, MI; one sister, Suzanne Shaughnessy of New York, NY; and ten grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 15, 2011 at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, FL. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 5 – 7 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter, FL.
The family suggests memorials in her name to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound.
