Alvin Preston "Cowboy" Cain, age 60, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday at the family residence. Cowboy, as he was affectionately called, was the son of the late Barton Cross Cain and Nelson Cain. His sisters, Flora Britt, Ella Stinnett, Martha Stinnett and Mary Sue Cain and his brothers, Joe, Floyd, L. N. and Leonard Cain and Joe Williams also preceded him in death. Cowboy worked at Jackson Manufacturing for 29 years. He enjoyed going to the Burrell Livestock Auction, local flea Markets and visiting the Amish Village. His love was horses and meeting his friends for coffee in the mornings. Cowboy was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Diane Cain of Cleveland, his sons, Tony Cain and his wife Renea, Erik Cain and his girlfriend Chris all of Cleveland, his grandchildren, Austin Cain and his wife Kayla, Dylan Cain, his great granddaughter, Paizley Grace Cain, his sisters, Linda Stinnett and Margaret Baber, his special nephew, Rocky Stinnett of Cleveland and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:00 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Anthony Traylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Flint Springs Cemetery with Austin Cain, Dylan Cain, Trevin Pridmore, Will Stinnett, Rocky Stinnett and Mike McDougal serving as casket bearers.
