Mildred L. Wheeler
May 7, 1931 - September 11, 2017

Mrs. Wheeler was a Dental Assistant for many years, member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter.

On July 22, 1950, she was united in marriage to David S. Wheeler in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Wheeler preceded her in death on January 27, 2014.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law's, Mark D. Wheeler (Terri) of Dexter, Missouri and Scott V. Wheeler (Belinda) of Magnolia, Texas; by three grandchildren, Chase Wheeler, Nick Wheeler, and Misha Cheema; also by four great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her beloved shih tzu, BAILEY (no more ice cream.)

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Leroy Medler, Everett Medler, Glen Medler, Chet Medler, and R.C. Medler; by one sister, Edith Medler.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 15, 2017. Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
