October 10—Mrs. Catharine Hanks died Tuesday, October 9, 1906, at her home south of Centreville, aged 65 years, nine months and nine days. Interment will be made Friday afternoon in the M. E. cemetery at Bethel. She was a very quiet, inoffensive citizen. Nine children survive her; her husband, Thompson Hanks, died four years ago.
