Albert L. Cook, Jr., age 78, of Gap, PA, passed away at Hickory House Nursing Home of Honey Brook on Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was the husband of Rosaline Warnes Cook with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage on February 29th. He was born in Eatontown, NJ, son of the late Albert L., Sr. & Dorothy Y. Walker Cook. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, as a part of the Strategic Air Command, as a nuclear weapons specialist. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for Quebecor Printing for 25 years as a press operator. He was a member of the Paradise Sportsman Club. He loved music, playing chess, and reading, especially about World War II. Albert was also an avid coin and stamp collector.

Surviving besides his wife is a daughter Amanda J. wife of Sy Ratjavong of Gap, 2 grandchildren: Ty & Mai Ratjavong, 2 siblings: Robert Cook of Delaware and Jessica wife of Newton Pelkey of Maryland. He was preceded in death by a sister Judy Cook and a brother Richard Cook.
