89, husband to Charlotte Baker Barnett, passed away at his home on Wednesday September 6, 2017 with his wife, daughter, son and granddaughter by his side. He was born to the late Charles and Mildred (Thomas) Barnett in Danville, KY on March 26, 1928.
He is, also, preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
Harold and Charlotte married on December 20, 1952, he served the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a truck driver for B & L Motor Freight.
Besides his wife of 64 years, he is survived by their children, Linda Jackson (Dave), Becky Swann (Marvin), Chuck Barnett (Barbara), Peggy Barnett (Jack Clark), and David Barnett with eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a brother Harlan Barnett (Joyce).
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Friday from 2-7 pm and Saturday from 10:00 till time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Hillsdale Baptist Church's missionary fund, Disabled American Veterans, Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of your choice.
