Marilyn was born in East Brunswick Township, Jan. 7, 1932, a daughter of the late Leon Edward and Margie Irene Gerhard Kimmel.
She was the wife of James A. Marshall. They married Oct. 15, 1950. She attended the Ford Business School and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Allen Marshall, in 1970.
In addition to her husband of 66 years, James, Marilyn is survived by a sister, Carol Schaeffer, Orwigsburg; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Marilyn's Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22 at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg. Friends may gather from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
