Bessie Mae White of Fort Smith died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in her home.

She attended elementary school in Van Buren and Lincoln High School in Fort Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paralee and Harry Lafayette, her husband Flavil White Sr. and sister Eva Lee Sneed, a brother Harry Lafayette Jr., a son Flavil Michael White Jr.

At a young age she confessed Christ and was a member of Greater Pilgrim Rest until death. During her marriage she enjoyed the military travels with her husband. To their union two sons were born, Flavil (Michael) White and Dwight White, and a daughter Lauretta hill.

She leaves to cherish in her memory, her children Dwight White and Lauretta (Osbey Hill), her sister Lucille Archie. The grandchildren Michael White and Teruko White of Fresno Ca, Aaron White (Jennifer), Tashara Wright, David Howard, O'Mauri Hill, Patience Hill, and Larenzo Hill. The five great-grandchildren Damean, Donta, Jeremiah, Sadaya and Aaria and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and love ones who will miss her tremendously.

The funeral service will be at Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church on Friday September 15, 2017 at 12:00 pm in Van Buren Ar.
Pallbearers will be Jerrel Dotson, Josh Dotson, Jesse Ferguson, Jeffrey Matthews, Darrell Taylor and Geren Thompson.
