Catherine Roberts Chandler, age 88, of Danville, passed away on September 11, 2017, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 11, 1929, in Danville, to John Roberts and Dora Grimes Roberts. Before retirement, she worked at Dan River Mills and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children, Richard Chandler, Jr. (Betty), Raymond Chandler and Peggy Wright (Jim); five grandchildren; three brothers. She was also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
