William Lemuel Willey, 91, of Fort Smith, died September 7, 2017 in Fort Smith.
He was born March 23, 1926 in Altus, Oklahoma to Herbert Monroe and Verna Lockhart Willey.

He was the retired co-owner of Trophy Man Clothing, a member of Sigma Chi from the University of Oklahoma, former delegate for the New Mexico Democratic Party, he was a former deacon of First Baptist Church in Hobbs, New Mexico, an Elder of First Christian in Ruidoso, New Mexico, and a current member of the First Christian Church of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Zana Willey of Fort Smith; two sons, Bill Willey and wife Pam of Lubbock, TX and Brandon Willey and wife Tenley of Fort Smith; one brother, Phillip Willey of Altus, OK; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Jo Willey Caviness; granddaughter, Tara Willey; and two nephews, Greg Caviness and Steve Willey.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Willey, Darin Willey, Brett Willey, Eric Caviness, Austin Efurd, and Brian Taylor.
