Rosary for Raymond C. Salazar 58 of Lubbock will be on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Raymond went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born on February 2, 1959 in Slaton to the late Brijido and Elvira Salazar.

Raymond owned and operated Rays Maintenance Heating and Air and had a passion for music. He enjoyed playing bass guitar and played for Mi Tequila, Mi Tequila Two Generations and Tequila Rhythm Section. Above all, he loved spending time with family and his dog Bucas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe Salazar and Brijido Salazar Jr; a sister Oralia Deanda.

Survivors include two sons, Ryan Christopher Salazar and Raymond Terrell Salazar both of Lubbock; a daughter, Mellissa Salazar Luna of Lubbock; two brothers, Ben Salazar and Robert Salazar both of Lubbock; nine grandchildren.
