Christopher Stuart, Lampe, MO, son of
Michael L. & Katherine E. {Seever} Stuart,
was born September 18, 1980 in Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life on September 8, 2017 at the age of 36.

Chris had been a resident of the area for three years, moving here from Dallas, TX. He worked as a storage facility manager. He was of the Christian faith. He was a black belt in Taekwondo. He had served his country in the United States Navy. Chris achieved the rank of AT3. He served aboard the USS George Washington which participated in offensive strike missions against the Taliban and Al-Queda in 2002. He received the Battle “E” Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.

Chris is survived by his parents, brother, Clark Stuart and wife Rachel of Highlandville, MO; four nieces and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Keystone Baptist Church, Reeds Spring, MO. Pastor Jim Cantrell officiated. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the charity of choice.
