Edwin Odell “Ed” Young, age 86, died Sunday, September 10, 2017, at the Hospice Center, in Maysville, Kentucky. He was born October 16, 1930, to the late Clarence Young and Ottie Brascom Young Keith.

He is survived by: his wife of 63 years, Iwana Childers Young; one daughter, Sherry (David) Reeves, of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sons, Grant (Dottie) Young, of Cincinnati, Alan (Eleanor) Young, of Foster, Dale (Shirley) Young, of Augusta, Darren (JoAnn) Young, of Augusta, and Tony (Sandra) Young, of Saukville, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 14, at 1:00 p.m. at Chatham Christian Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be sent to Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, Maryland 20850.
