He was born to the late Glenn and Fannie (Broadnax) Young on August 4, 1950. Graduating from Parker High School in 1969 and went on to further his education at Greenville Technical College. He was a tool and die maker and retired from Booth Electrosystems. Eddie was a lifelong member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Greenville and an avid Clemson Tiger fan.
He is survived by a sister Donna (Jimmy) Thackston, an aunt Tilda Young, a niece Anna (Rusty) Duncan, a nephew Jonathan (Jensen) Thackston and two great nieces Ava and Emily Duncan all of Greenville.
