Peggy Jo Day, 71, Hopkinsville, died at 7:47 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with Roy King officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Wednesday.
A native of Hopkinsville, she was born March 27, 1946 the daughter of the late Gerald Amon Tillman and Marjorie Rose Burdette Hopper. She worked as a manager in the moving and storage industry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Shanklin and one brother.
Survivors include her son, Robin (Dee) Shanklin, Virginia Beach, Va.; her daughter, Rhonda (Chris) James, Hopkinsville; her brother, Glenn (Stephanie) Tillman, Nashville; her sister, Janet (Jim) Brown, Hopkinsville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
