Born March 28, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Morris J. and Helen Marie Thompson Dietrich.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was retired from Orbit Manufacturing. Mr. Dietrich was a United State Army Korean War Veteran. He served in the ASA Security Agency in the United States Army.
Family members include his wife of 50 years, Helen Cabe Dietrich; son, Dr. Ken Dietrich of Toccoa; sister-in-law, Barbara Cabe of NJ; nieces and nephews, Monette Addison of Toccoa, Joseph Dietrich, Carol Harris and Judy Dietrich all of CA, Derrick and Susan Addison, Lavonne and Terrell Dean, Diane and Kyle Adams all of Toccoa, Shuwan and Earl Rogers of Port Wentworth, GA, Pamela and Kenny Evans and Scott and Eilene Cabe all of New Jersey, Wanda Cabe Kirkman of FL; great niece, Katherine Anderson of CA; and several other great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Morris Joseph Dietrich, Jr and a nephew, Steven Dietrich.
Crypt Side services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Roselane Mausoleum with Dr. Ken Dietrich officiating.
Entombment will follow with Military Honors provided by the Georgia Army National Guard.
