Tom was born in Santa Rosa, California on February 19, 1947. He graduated from Hogan High School in Vallejo California, 1965. He met loving wife, Lena, in Casper 2003 and was married on September 24, 2004. Tom served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1992 when he retired from F.E. Warren Air Force Base. His service was during the Vietnam War. He was a Security Police and Dog Handler during his time in service. He received a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Troy State University on August 8, 1980, and a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma on August 5, 1985. He worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor for many years after his retirement from the United States Air Force.

His parents, Herman and Loretta Morton, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Morton, stepson, Tommy McClure and his wife Chantel, 4 grandchildren, Meaghan, Millyzient, Tommy III, and Maedeen; also brothers, Randy Morton and Mike Morton. He also leaves his four pet corgis, Winston, Casey, Gizmo, and Juneau.

Tom was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants. He belonged to the Masons. He was an Eagle Scout when he was younger. He loved to travel and spend time with his family.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Casper Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.
