In 1850, on April 4, Henry W. was born to Henry and Minnie Sandermeir Konneker in Kenne, Bavaria, Germany.

Around 1875-6, he and his brother George M. (110878273) immigrated to the US. George married Anna Christina Oswald Konneker. (Anna's sister Minnie F. Oswald married Frederick Burkhart Fox, Lucinda's brother.)

In 1875, He married Lucinda Fuchs Konneker of Ohio, daughter of Christopher and Katherine Ohmberger Fuchs (Fox ). Together they would have 11 children.

In 1888, April, on a Friday, his stable and hay caught fire, a newsworthy event in Hillsboro, Ohio in
"The News-Herald." In 1888, their infant girl died.
He became a Coal Merchant.
In the 1910 Census, the family was residing Madison, Highland, Ohio, United States. Henry was 60 and Lucinda 55. Their family included 8 children: eldest daughter Olive age 30, Grace age 24, Helen age 19, Charles E age 18, William H., age 16, Ralph age 14 and the youngest Roy at age 13.
In the 1920 Census, his Ohio household included also his daughters Olive age 40 and Grace age 33.
In 1921 on June 14, Henry died at age 71 in Greenfield, Highland, Ohio.
