Thomas King, 92, 363 East Parson street, died in Galion City hospital Monday at 1:45 p. m. He had been ill since last September. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a. m. at the Volk funeral home with Rev. R. L. Butler, pastor of the Market street Methodist church officiating. Burial will be made in Degraff cemetery.

Mr. King was born in Bolton, England, Nov. 20, 1861, the son of Martin and Mary E. Shaw King. He was married Aug. 25, 1904 to Mary O. Stephenson who died March 14, 1933. Children surviving are: Mrs. Mary E. Staton, of Russells Point; Mrs. Dorothy Tully, Degraff; Thomas King, Pendleton, Ind.; Mrs. Ella Kauffman, Riverside, Calif.; Warran Officer, G. Joe King, Fort Hood, Tex.; Mrs. Elizabeth Geiser, Lancaster; 23 grandchildren: brothers and sisters: Mrs. Nellie DeLahey, Burley, England; Christopher King, Manchester, England; Mrs. Granville Lee, Flint, Mich.; Mrs. Josephine Scholes, Galion.

Mr. King was a veteran of the Spanish-American War, World War I, in which he served with the Royal Canadian engineers; British Americans of Cleveland; American Legion, and Baku Grotto, Masonic Lodge, of Mansfield. He had been employed at the Galion Iron Works as guard before his retirement.
