John F. Mackey, Sr., age 60, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Friday, September 8, 2017, in a local hospital. He was born November 20, 1956, in Corona, California, and had lived in Texarkana for most of his life.
He was an employee of Christus St. Michael Health Care System as a security officer, a former Miller County Sheriff Deputy, and was retired from the Arkansas Department of Community Correction. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Mackey, Sr.
