Born in Florence, she was a lifelong Florence/ Roebling resident.
Over the years, she did much babysitting and was the family caregiver. She was a devoted Elvis fan and collected Budweiser Clydesdale horse memorabilia. Katherine also enjoyed cooking and watching game shows on TV.
Daughter of the late Daniel and Alice Hannon Green, wife of the late James E. Perry, sister of the late Louis D. Green, and mother of the late Daniel Perry, she is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Perry (Chris), and Megan Green; and two sons, James Perry Jr., and Matthew Perry (Trish); and her grandchildren, Matthew Perry and Amanda Perry, as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front Street, Florence, where relatives and friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Anyone unable to attend Saturday's service may also visit Sunday, Sept. 10, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
