Born in Easton, Pa., daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Filigno) Cimino, she had been a resident of West Bristol for over 60 years.
Mrs. Mitchell was employed as a registered nurse for 45 years, retiring from Delaware Valley Medical Center.
She loved singing and was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Church choir.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Frederick J. Mitchell Sr., and was the loving mother of James Marshall and his wife, Laurie, Bonnie (Marshall) Kehoe and her husband, Gene, Linda (Marshall) (Michael Thomas), Cathy (Mitchell) Hahn (Bill Heil), Frederick Mitchell Jr. and Michael Mitchell and his wife, Sondi. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her grandson, James Oliver and her sister, Frances Serfass.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Croydon. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
