Judith (Pinette) Hawkins, 58, passed away unexpectedly April 5, 2017, at her home. She was born in Belfast, February 17, 1959, the daughter of William Pinette and Marilyn Richardson.
Judy was a graduate of Mt. View High School, class of 1977. She worked for the US Postal service for several years prior to retiring.
She had a deep love for animals, domestic and wild. She adored her cats and was known for feeding the wildlife in her back yard. Judy also had a green thumb and was a very talented crafter. She enjoyed making gifts for family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband, Scott, of Eddington; her mother Marilyn of Belfast; one son, Erick Staples, his wife, Jamie and their daughter, Sidney, all of Bradley; one sister, Gayle Cmar and husband Mike of Rockport; two brothers, David Pinette and partner Bonnie Hodgson of Readfield and Keith Stover of Bucksport; two stepchildren, Chris and Amber; and nieces and nephews.
The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
