Annetta M. Chester, 80 of Charlestown passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.
Annetta was born March 19, 1937 in Charlestown, IN the daughter of William Montgomery and Frances Eldridge Montgomery Wilburn. She was a homemaker early in her life but later worked for H & R Block in Charlestown for 16 years. Annetta enjoyed playing cards and games with family and friends, tennis, playing piano and was a member of the former Rebekah Lodge #487 in Charlestown.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula Washnock(Alan) of Charlestown, Diana McIntosh(Roger) of Charlestown; son Mike Chester(Carol) of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Amy Benavides(Donald), Chris Chester, Candice Blevins(Jimmy) and Roger Paul McIntosh(Lera); great-grandchildren, Amilia, James, Savannah, Lena, Lylah and expecting two more in the near future. Several extended family members including step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Annetta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Harrison Chester in 2007, infant brother Lawrence Montgomery, great-grandchild, Roger Paul McIntosh II, step-father, Earl Wilburn.
