Virginia E. Russell nee Brumley of Cuba, MO was born on Wednesday, October 5, 1932 in Mt. Grove, MO to Earl Brumley and Pauline G. McKee Brumley. She passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 4 days.
Virginia married Cecil Eugene Russell on April 4, 1948 in Mt. Home, Arkansas and to this union three daughters were born. Virginia worked 20 years as a Stanley Home Products Sales lady and 40 years at P.N. Hirsch Company which later became Dollar General. She retired from Dollar General as manager just 5 years ago. Virginia enjoyed talking to people and socializing with her friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eugene Russell; grandparents Arthur E. McKee and Georgana McKee. She is survived by her daughters Linda Prevost of Cuba, MO, Connie (Brian) Pederson of Tulsa, OK and Paula Mueller of Cuba, MO; grandchildren Jennifer Rutsch of Austin, TX, Michael Rutsch and Brooke Pederson all of Tulsa, OK, Shantelle Mueller of Town and Country, MO and Eli Pederson of Broken Arrow, OK; one great granddaughter Demi Lynn Alsphaugh of Tulsa, OK; cousins and many friends.
Visitation is from 5-7:00PM on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 and Funeral Service at 7:00PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Pastor Terry King officiating. Chapel Service on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 1:00PM at Ball Church, Dora, MO and Burial to follow at Martin Cemetery, Dora, MO. Memorials may be given to the Missionary fund at First Southern Baptist Church, Leasburg, MO.
