His parents lived with him and his two youngest brothers in Tomah in 1920 where his dad continued farming there in Monroe County. Herman and His first marriage was to Mable and they had children. Mable passed early in life due to diabetes/ethanolism.
His second marriage was to Frances in late 1930s found them living in Rockford and eventually then in Brodhead, WI.
They are buried together at Greenwood Cem. in Brodhead, WI.
