Jack Lee Nicholson, 81, of Weirton, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at Trinity West, Steubenville.

Born June 21, 1936 in Moundsville, WV, he was a son of the late George and Roda Jane Nicholson. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Laverne K. Nicholson; brothers John, Edward and Henry and sister Wilma Mae.

Jacked worked for Weirton Steel as a mechanic and thoroughly enjoyed his work.

He is survived by his two sons Jack and Kenneth (Catherine) Nicholson, both of Weirton; grandchildren Allison, Paula and Kenneth Nicholson, Jackie (Brock) Selman; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Roy, Joe, Ralph and Dan and sisters Betty Jane and Rebecca Kae.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. Rev. Dr. Ed Rudiger will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee.
