Pat was born June 27, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. She was a graduate of Teague High School and of UT Tyler, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree. Pat married her loving husband, Jerry McGee, on July 21, 1956 in Point Enterprise, Texas. She retired from the Mexia State School after many years of service as a Computer Tech.
Pat was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; family was a priority and everyone knew they could count on her when there was a need. She was a sweet, caring person who always looked out for others and put everyone else first. She was a faithful Christian and member of the Point Enterprise Baptist Church.
Pat also enjoyed traveling with Colorado being her favorite place to visit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Alan McGee; and brothers, Marvin and Donald Barton.
Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Jerry McGee; son, Lane McGee; daughter, Teresa Wright and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Christopher Wright, Andrea Wright, Gretchen Montgomery, Jayson Wright and Michael McGee; great-grandchildren, Jeffery Hensel, Aimee Hensel, Spencer Vanderschot, Alexis Vanderschot, Venice McGee, Mahaya McGee and Lucy McGee; great-great-grandchild, Amelia Avera; sister-in-law, Louise Barton; and nieces, Sonya Meade and Jill Bounds.
