Mrs. Anna Kate Watson Blitch, of 42 Lanes Avenue, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. She was a native of Waterloo, Iowa, and came to this city 33 years ago. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and was very active in church work, being a charter member of the guild at Orange Park.
Surviving are her husband, Ozias Theodore Blitch; two daughters, Mrs. Marcus W. Joyner, Darlington, N.C. and Mrs. Susan Fitzgerald, Walnut, Kans; a son, Ozias Theodore Blitch, Jr., Gainesville, Fla. and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of Seashole Funeral Parlors. The Rev. Douglas B. Leatherbury, rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church will officiate assisted by the Rev. Rembert A Guy, pastor of the Murray Hill Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be: Active: Don Poole, D. J. Hartman, Marvin F. Pace, Clarence D. Holland, Jesse C. Howard and Merle DeBoise; honorary, Fred Ogram, Dr. E. E. Leitner, J.S. Plunkett, E. J. Mundy and J. C. Durrance.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
