Mary Helen Collins, 88, Huntington, W.Va. passed away August 1, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. She was born May 3, 1923 at Ft. Gay, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles E. and Rebecca Lynch Raines. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Dorothy Jackson, Nancy Jackson, and Roberta Young and four brothers; Bromley Raines, James Burlin Raines, Grant Raines, and Jack Raines.
Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Marion H. Collins of Huntington, a sister; "Mickey" and Mack Campbell of Ft. Gay, W.Va., several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday August 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bartram Chapel in Ft. Gay, W.Va.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Frasher Cemetery, Ft. Gay, W.Va.
