Vicky Peterson, 72, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 from complications related to Alzheimer's disease. She was born May 27, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Glen and Ethel Gardiner.
She graduated from high school in 1963 and attended LDS Business College.
On May 26, 1973, Vicky married the love of her life, Dick Peterson.
She loved her children, husband, family and pets.
Vicky is survived by her daughters: Karren (Jeff) Olsen, of Salt Lake City, Lisa Peterson, of North Salt Lake, Melanie (James) Peterson Jacques, of Roy, and Stephanie Johnston, of Clinton; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Peachtree and Comfort Worx Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2017 at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Washington City Cemetery on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 1 p.m.
