Douglas Lane Dyer, age 65, of Mt. Blanchard, Ohio, died at 12:48 am on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He was born on July 9, 1952, in Findlay, Ohio to Lane and Alice (Wineland) Dyer. His father is deceased and his mother survives. He married Ellen Suzanne "Sue" Keller on Aug. 23, 1974, and she died on Sept. 25, 2009. He is survived by a son: Christopher (Melissa) Dyer of Findlay; daughter: Victoria (Chris) Kent of Fostoria; brother: Larry (Holly) Dyer of Mt. Blanchard; grandchildren: Allyson Beechum, Nicholas Kent, Stormie Dyer and Shelby Dyer. He had been a truck driver and a former member of Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church with a memorial service at the church at 6:30 pm on Wednesday. Pastor Brett Kelly will officiate and interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Arlington.
