Graveside services for Reba "Granny" Dennis, 96, of Jacksonville, will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Larissa Cemetery in Mt. Selman with Rev. Bobby Connor officiating, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. There will be a viewing from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the cemetery.
Mrs. Dennis went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Tyler. She was born on January 22, 1921 in Van Alstyne.
Reba was a member of First Baptist Church, Bullard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dennis Sr.; her parents; her siblings, Raymond Rudd and Jimmy Rudd and her children, James "Jay" Dennis and Robert Dennis Sr. both of Bullard.
She is survived by her loving family including her son, Don Dennis Jr. of Bullard; grandchildren, Amy Dennis, Carrie Dennis, Don "Donny" Dennis III, Jill Dennis Siler, Lauren Dennis, Robert Dennis Jr. and David Dennis; great-granddaughters, Ashley Byrom and Elizabeth Gould; and great-great-granddaughter Haigen Holt.
