Leonard Wayne Cox, age 83, of Lawton, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Lawton. He was born September 7, 1933 to Oscar and Mary Reynolds Cox. During his lifetime he enjoyed participating in rodeo events, race car driving, bowling, gardening and fishing with his close friend Ronnie Flowers.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Penny, three daughters and their spouses, Karen and Don Bruner, Fort Worth, TX, Denise and Mark Asbury, Lawton and Janice and Roger Stringer, Temple, OK, a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Brenda Cox; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Ronnie Glover, sister-in-law, Gwen Cox; grandchildren, Andrew Schmidt, Chris Palmieri, Jamie Ray, Matt Ray, four great grandchildren, nephew, Brad Cox and nieces, Patti Cox and Shari Pillow.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Weldon Cox and Alton Cox, two nephews, Brent Cox and Blake Cox and sister-in-law, Jackye Cox.
