Samuel Harry Meyer, age 51, of Crossroads, Texas passed away on September 6, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on December 15, 1965 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Denice Lowe and Harry Meyer. Sam served in the United States Navy and later in the Army Reserves. Sam worked in Resource Planning and Strategic Development. On April 21, 2006, Sam married Peraly Moyon in Denton, Texas. He was also active in the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.

Sam is survived by his wife, Peraly (Moyon) Meyer; Mother, Denice Lowe; three siblings: Sheila Currence, Holly Gerdes and Stefan Meyer; brother-in-law Brent Gerdes, niece, Sabra Gerdes; and nephew, Ian Gerdes; and two dogs Boo and Jack.

Sam is preceded in death by his father, Harry Meyer and brother-in-law, Kevan Currence.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Saturday, September 9, 2017 beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello, Idaho.
