VIVIAN, LA - Funeral services for Michael Glenn Parrott, 56, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at McGuire Funeral Home, Vivian, LA. Officiating will be Rev. T. D. Moore pastor of Haughton United Pentecostal Church, assisted by Rev. Richard Beeman, assoc. pastor of Vivian First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Vivian Cemetery.
Mr. Parrott, Security Guard for North Louisiana Security, died March 7, 2007 in Vivian, LA. He was born in Vivian February 18, 1951 and was a member of Haughton United Pendecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and S.L. Parrott; maternal grandparents: Cleo and Avery Stanfield, all of Vivian and paternal grandparents: Ada and Ambrose Parrott of Noble, LA.
His survivors include his twin brother, Sidney Lynn Parrott of Vivian, LA; sisters, Barbara Parrott of Bossier City, LA, Eleanor Powell and her husband, Edmon of Vivian, LA, and Patricia Barnhill of Shreveport; Mike is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be William Powell, Wayne Mickelborough, Tobe Wall, Vance Boyd, Bill Young and Wayne Lankford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Edmon Powell, Jay Barnhill and Jeff Barnhill.
